Business Visa Sponsorship (Long Stay) - 457 Visa

Dialog's 457 business visa

Dialog has access to a significant number of 457 Visa places for skilled overseas IT people. Through these visas, Dialog can employ people from overseas who can:

  • work in Australia for a period of between three (3) months and four (4) years;
  • bring any eligible secondary applicants (spouse, dependent children) with them to Australia – secondary applicants can work and study;
  • after entering Australia, have no limit on the number of times they travel in and out of Australia during the visa term.

Process

Once you and Dialog agree on employment terms, Dialog makes an application to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) that uses one of its 457 places. At the same time, you and any secondary applicants will make your own visa applications to the department. Dialog can provide you with some support through the application process.

These applications can take up to three months to process. Both you and Dialog may be required to respond to questions.

After receiving final visa approval by DIAC, you can then make arrangements to re-locate to Australia and commence employment with Dialog.

Agreement

Dialog is held legally liable for your conduct and the conduct of your family members whilst in the country and we are held financially responsible for all costs the government and the community may incur should any issues arise.

In recognition of Dialog’s:

  • acceptance of the legal and financial obligations,
  • provision of the employment opportunity, and
  • investment in bringing you on board,

you will be required to enter into a two year term employment agreement with Dialog.

People who have been working with Dialog in Australia under a 457 visa for at least 2 years often apply for permanent residency status. This is a separate and unrelated visa application. However, Dialog would normally be very willing to lend its support to your application for permanent residency.
